LinkedIn, the worldwide professional network, now has 100million members. (And there are 74 jobs for Elvis tribute artists)

LinkedIn has published statistics showing a breakdown of its 100million members. It’s better presented as an infographic which you can see by clicking the link at the end of this article, but here is a selection of their statistics in less interesting text form. 

44million members are in the US with the remaining 56million elsewhere in the world. The fastest growing countries are Brazil, Mexico, India and France.

There are 997000 jobs for teachers, 1030 for chocolatiers, 74 for Elvis tribute artists and one for a Martini whisperer.

59% of members are male and 41% female. The largest age groups, both with 36% of members each, are the 25 to 34 years old and 35 to 54 years old.

Hi-tech followed by Finance are the highest represented industry groups.
